On 30 June 2025, the Joint Conference on Teacher Education Programme Development was held in Room 206 of the Teacher Training Skills Centre in Building A at Jiangsu University. In attendance were Vice President Zou Xiaobo, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office Li Xinchao, leaders from the School of Education, teaching deans from faculties offering teacher education programmes, programme coordinators, department heads, staff from the Teacher Education Centre, and personnel from the Teacher Training Skills Centre. The meeting was chaired by Kang Cui, Vice Dean of the School of Education.

Bu Guangqing, Party Secretary of the School of Education, conveyed feedback from the 2025 joint accreditation expert panel on the university’s teacher education programmes. The experts commended the programmes’ distinctive achievements in implementing the “backward design, forward implementation, and baseline evaluation” approach. They also offered specific suggestions, such as refining the graduate requirements framework, strengthening the three-practice education system, and upgrading experimental and practical training platforms.
During the experience-sharing session, Li Jiajun, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, and Sha Chunfa, Vice Dean of the School of Arts, reported on their respective programmes’ progress and challenges since March 2024, pledging continued improvements based on the panel’s recommendations.

Zhou Du, Vice Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, provided an update on preparations for the accreditation of the Chinese Language and Literature programme. Multiple rounds of self-assessment and document consolidation have been completed, with all tasks advancing in line with accreditation standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
Finally, Kang Cui presented the institutional training plan for the Jiangsu Provincial Teacher Education Students' Fundamental Teaching Skills Competition.
